One of the Bible’s most iconic moments is brought to life in TVLine’s first-look photo from National Geographic’s Killing Jesus (Sunday, March 29 at 8/7c).
Haaz Sleiman (Covert Affairs) plays the titular character in this latest representation of Jesus of Nazareth, which also explores the sociopolitical complicities that led to his eventual demise.

The Palm Sunday broadcast – based on Bill O’Reilly’s book of the same name – is a star-studded affair with a cast that also includes Kelsey Grammer (Boss) as King Herod the Great, Stephen Moyer (True Blood) as Pontius Pilate and Emmanuelle Chriqui (Entourage) as the manipulative Herodia.
