Sterling Jerins Joins Charlize Theron In ‘Dark Places’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Sterling Jerins, who played Brad Pitt’s daughter in “World War Z,” has joined the cast of Mandalay’s thriller “Dark Places” opposite Charlize Theron.

The story, based on Gillian Flynn’s novel, centers on a woman who survived the massacre of her family as a young girl and testified against her brother as the murderer. She’s confronted 25 years later by a secret society obsessed with solving notorious crimes.

Jerins, who also starred in “The Conjuring,” will play the young girl while Theron portrays her elder self. Corey Stoll, Nicholas Hoult and Chloe Moretz also star with Gilles Brenner set to direct.

Sterling also starred in “The Conjuring” and recently joined the cast of Rob Reiner’s comedy “And So It Goes,” starring Michael Douglas and Diane Keaton.

She is repped by ICM Partners, Principle Entertainment, and Bloom Hergott Diemer, LLP
