Modern Family star, 21, bares derrière in thong bikini
Modern Family star Ariel Winter has kicked off 2020 by celebrating her fit physique in a cheeky Instagram video that showcases her bikini-clad derrière.
In the footage, the 21-year-old poses with her back to the camera, putting her bottom-baring black thong on display while looking out to sea. She then turns to peer over her shoulder and flashes a peace sign.
Ariel shared the racy clip with her 4 million or so followers on Thursday along with the simple caption “#happynewyear” and lots of peace sign emoji, of course.
Naturally, the comments were flooded with compliments for the former Disney star’s beachside look.
“Well, I’m not sure there’s a better way to welcome 2020!” wrote one fan.
“2020 looks very promising!” said another.
“Peaches come to mind for some reason,” quipped The OA star Brandon Perea.
Ariel made sure to give credit to her trainer, @mackfit, by tagging him in the post. Mack left a flexed biceps emoji along with a peach in reply.
The actor - who has faced body shaming and plastic surgery criticism in the past - began documenting her fitness journey with Mack in October last year when she posted a video of herself ‘working on her goals’ in the gym.
Also in October Ariel opened up to Women’s Health about switching her antidepressant medication which balanced her metabolism and allowed her to see more results from her workouts.
“When I changed meds, and started feeling better about myself mentally, losing weight was helpful because it made me feel like I wasn’t just stuck,” she told the magazine. “I hate being stuck anywhere in life.”
Ariel has played the role of Alex Dunphy in Modern Family since 2009 when she was just 11 years old.
