Doritos and Mountain Dew have been popular snack combination for quite some time, but have you ever thought what it would be like to bring the two together? Apparently, that was weighing on the Doritos team’s minds, because now Doritos Mountain Dew chips are here to blow your taste buds away.

The limited-edition Doritos take on the flavor of Mountain Dew. The typical soda has a citrus flavor, which sounds, uh, interesting in a crunchy chip, but that wouldn’t stop us from trying it given the chance. However, it might be a tad difficult to do that since they’re not available in U.S. (yet, hopefully).

The new snack appears to be an Australia-exclusive bite. We know, we’re sad, too. So if you have any friends down under, be extremely nice to them for the next couple days and then maybe throw in the whole package request their way.

Go home, Australia, because you’re officially the drunkest country on the planet right now. 😂 New Mountain Dew Doritos, which I swear to God is absolutely 100% real, just dropped in the Land Down Under. The back of the package promises the Lemon Citrus flavor of @mountaindew with the signature full-on crunch of Doritos. This shouldn’t exist but it does. Big shoutout to my man @nickvavitiss for sending over a pic, hopefully him and I can do a swap so I can review this clown show of a product. Curious and deranged minds can likely find these on the Internet in the near future.

According to Instagram account @nickvavitiss, who tried the new chips, they taste like “citrus lime detergent.” A little harsh, but that could be extremely accurate for all we know. But even if it’s true, Doritos and Mountain Dew fans would still jump at the chance to add these to their snack collection.

OK, so we have Mountain Dew-flavored Doritos, but what about Doritos-flavored Mountain Dew? Been there, done that. PepsiCo Inc., which owns Mountain Dew, released such items in 2008 and 2014. The later one was dubbed as “Dewitos” and part of a small program at colleges and universities.

Just when you thought there weren’t aren’t any flavor combinations that haven’t been done before, two iconic brands come together to do the unthinkable.
