Ace & Tate Explores Modern Love With London-based Artist Polly Nor

Accessible eyewear label, Ace & Tate, has teamed up with London-based artist, Polly Nor, for a collaboration that explores the modern-day love story.

Best known for her satirical drawings of women and their demons, Nor's signature design aesthetic is fused with one of Ace & Tate's best-selling frames for a bold reimagining of a classic silhouette. Reviving the Dutch label's "Jacques" frame, Nor's bespoke illustrations decorate the side of the frames, completing the collection with a unique trio of Nor-designed cleaning cloths and a special-edition gift card.

Inspired by the theme of desire, Nor explains, "I wanted to design something sexy and playful without compromising on the darker themes and characters that my work is known for." The artist draws inspiration from the idea of our innermost thoughts, which naturally lends itself to a semi-transparent frame. The frame arrives in a deep, cherry red hue, which "evokes images of roses, red wine, lipstick kisses," according to Nor.

The partnership with Nor marks the first in a series of upcoming collaborations from Ace & Tate, working with like-minded creatives across Europe.

The new Ace & Tate and Polly Nor collaboration is now available to shop from Ace & Tate.
