Real Housewives of Miami star Alexia Nepola and estranged husband, Todd Nepola, seemed to have one of the most stable relationships on the franchise. Last season, it started to seem a bit shaky when Todd dipped out of a gathering that Alexia hosted at their home. It was AWKWARD. Rumors about the couple’s alleged financial woes also followed them all season.

Then Todd wanted to end the marriage, shocking everyone, including Alexia. Now it sounds like these two are far from estranged.

Alexia married Todd in December 2021 in St. Barths. But in April 2024, Todd filed for divorce. According to Alexia, Todd giving up on their marriage was a shock. “I was never expecting that. I thought things were good,” Alexia stated. “I’m devastated.”

During her recent appearance on the Two Ts In A Pod podcast, Alexia explained her current relationship with Todd. And it sounds friendly. “We’ve done it all. Yeah, we love each other,” Alexia said about their post-split romps. “We’re super into each other.”

The Cuban Barbie also broke down the issues in their marriage. “He knew what he was getting himself into but I think that once they’re in it, they’re like, ‘Oh, I don’t like this. How do I get out of it?’… I felt like he’s very impulsive and that was the decision (filing for divorce) he took at that moment,” she said. “I think the distance sometimes is good because you can refresh and you have time to think about things and in a different environment than when you’re at each other’s throats every day, even though that wasn’t the case before.”

Currently, Todd and Alexia are in couples counseling. “I’m madly in love with him and I would want it to work out. So that’s why it’s so difficult,” the RHOM star said. “But again, I feel that being in the public eye is so much harder, and I think that’s one of the reasons that he’s struggling with this.”

Fingers crossed Alexia and Todd can repair their marriage.
