Alexis Bellino Slams Meghan King's Diss About John Janssen: "Looking for a Moment"

Alexis Bellino won't let a fellow Real Housewives of Orange County alum come between her and her man, John Janssen.

In case you missed it, back in January, former orange holder Meghan King chatted with Page Six about the last text she sent to her good friend, Alexis.

“[Alexis] just said, ‘Thank you for your love and support,’ because I was texting her like, ‘Be careful –– it seems like he’s love-bombing," Meghan recalled about a warning she gave Alexis about John (who previously dated Shannon Storms Beador).

Meghan went on to say that she is "sure [John] has a lot of lovely traits," but "there might be some red flags in the way that John approaches a relationship."

Months after Meghan's comments initially made waves online, Alexis addressed the rift with her former close friend during a recent episode of Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp's podcast, Two Ts in a Pod.

"I just hate giving any of these people [who] used to be my friends, or who thought they were my friends, [who] decide they want to do that and do it in the media, who are looking for a moment in the spotlight," Alexis explained about the drama on the podcast, expressing her belief that she and John are "the most hated people in America."

What's more, Alexis was particularly annoyed with Meghan because she didn't feel like her concerns were coming from an authentic place.

"If you're my true friend and you're worried about somebody love bombing me, pick up the f-cking phone and call me and text me, 'cause you have my number," she continued.

Alexis Bellino and John Janssen's relationship will play out on RHOC Season 18

Fans will get a different look at Alexis' relationship with John when she returns to RHOC as a friend for Season 18.

Per the official press release for the upcoming season, which premieres on Bravo on Thursday, July 11 at 9/8c, Alexis comes into the season "in full force [and] ready to make waves."

"She finds her footing with most of the ladies and starts fresh with Tamra, but she instantly finds herself on shaky ground with Shannon as they face off in a series of high-stakes disputes," the press release continues.
