Season 19 Episode 3 rankings:

9. Jelly Boy the Clown: Jelly Boy is my nightmare personified and hilarious all at once. In short, thanks for the nightmares and scary tricks Jelly Boy, but it’s a no from me dawg. The reactions from Howie and the audience were brilliant though! Imagine hiring him for a kid’s birthday party.

8. Biko’s Manna: This act is a conundrum for me. On one hand, they sound great and have great personalities. Would I pay to see them in Vegas? No, but I can see families doing that. Social media loved them though, with many calling them the act of the night. If they do not win, maybe Simon just found one of the next big acts in music.

7. Dee Dee Simon: Dee Dee Simon has an incredible voice and blew the roof off the building with a fan favorite song on every competition show (“And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going”). While I think we will absolutely see her in the live rounds, I cannot help but hope for a riskier song choice or something more recent. Maybe “Shallow” by Lady Gaga?

6. Solange Kardinaly: Quick change acts captivate me and this was no different. Combining magic with the quick change tricks was the biggest surprise of the night for me. Unfortunately, the magic was less impressive than the quick change. With a little more time and tricks like this, she could be unstoppable in the live rounds. Howie and Sofia were especially impressed.

5. Roni Sagi & Rhythm: I am sucker for a dog act and this one put a giant smile on my face. Rhythm reminds me of my Fonzie in terms of just pure enjoyment. Only difference is he would never do any of those tricks if you paid him and seemed less interested than he normally does with a canine act. This is the type of act that could go very far in the competition. The first big wildcard of the season for me.

4. The Reklaws: The video package was perfection and made me become invested in their audition, but that’s where the problems began for me. As soon as the words “original song” were uttered…most viewers accurately predicted a saccharine song that would more than likely be forgotten if this duo wasn’t so likable. His voice is the standout for me. Overall, great vocals but forgettable song.

3. Bboy Samuka: In an audition that I will never forget, Bboy Samuka blew my mind with his incredible dancing skills, but it was really his quiet personality that was icing on the cake. I never expected him to be that good. In a way, he reminds me of Musa Motha and Stephen “tWitch” Boss meets Pasha Pashkov’s energy level on last season of “Dancing With the Stars.” Suffice to say, this is an act I can watch all day and could have a major fanbase if he were to make the live rounds. Consider me a fan!

2. Andrei Burton: I learned two things from this act. First and foremost, my love for BMX tricks as a kid has not died. Secondly, Simon has a sweet setup with his trailer. I loved every second of this audition, but also cannot help but wonder if it is a million dollar act. I would love to see him in the live rounds, so fingers crossed that we get to see an even more exciting course. Might I recommend jumping over fire?

1. Legion: On a night where only three acts wowed me, the best act of the season thus far received the Golden Buzzer from Sofia, who really has proven to have the knack for using the button to send the best dance acts to the live rounds. Lest we forget, she did use it on Mayyas two seasons ago. Personally, I could watch this act all day and think they are quite literally “fire” …as the kids say. The only concern that I have is what they could possibly do to top this performance. Also, who came up with the idea of setting the boots on fire?!
