The CW has renewed sports drama “All American” for a seventh season. The network has also secured broadcast rights for Season 4 of “The Chosen” and renewed “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” for Season 11.

“All American” is inspired by the life of former NFL linebacker Spencer Paysinger and stars Daniel Ezra as Spencer James, a young football player from Los Angeles. In the currently airing sixth season, Spencer and Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) are juniors at GAU and officially eligible to enter the NFL draft, while a new addition to the coaching staff shifts the team dynamics. Other characters navigate changing relationships, parenthood, legal trouble and grief.

Warner Bros. Television and CBS Studios produce “All American” in association with Berlanti Productions. Executive producers include Nkechi Okoro Carroll, Greg Berlanti, Jameal Turner, Sarah Schechter, Mike Herro and David Strauss.

A spinoff titled “All American: Homecoming” premiered in 2022, with a third season set to premiere on July 8. The series follows Jordan’s girlfriend Simone (Geffri Maya), who leaves L.A. to attend a historically black college in Atlanta.

After the first three seasons of hit historical drama “The Chosen” made their broadcast debut on the CW in 2023, the network has extended its deal and will air the new fourth season. Starring Jonathan Roumie as Jesus, the independently produced series is distributed by Lionsgate. Dallas Jenkins serves as writer, director and producer.

Season 4 already debuted in theaters earlier this year, and is set to stream on The Chosen app beginning on June 2. BYUtv will also air the season. The news of the CW’s renewed deal comes just after The Chosen LLC ended its relationship with Angel Studios, though the studio plans to appeal the decision.

“Penn & Teller: Fool Us” has been renewed for Season 11. The one-hour competition series sees aspiring magicians try to trick the famous duo, competing for a chance to perform alongside them in Las Vegas. The series is created and executive produced by Penn Jillette, Teller, Peter Adam Golden, Andrew Golder and Lincoln Hiatt in association with 1/17 Productions and DCD Media’s September Films.
