Working in reality television is no stroll in the park despite some making it appear that way. Like Andy Cohen — at least according to Anderson Cooper. The broadcast journalist knows that Andy is constantly working and creating.

While the Bravo bigwig has had to deal with allegations from several former Real Housewives in recent months, it hasn’t stopped him from keeping at it.

Paddling hard

“Every day when I turn on my phone, I see content that Andy Cohen is responsible for,” Anderson said in a recent interview with Vulture. “Much more so than any late night host.”

He also touched on what Andy does behind the scenes. He said Andy makes it look easy, but the reality is that he’s “paddling really, really fast under the water.”

The paddling Anderson mentioned is likely referring to Andy’s ability to multitask. Seemingly without dropping the ball. His talk show Watch What Happens Live has been renewed through 2025 along with several of the network’s other unscripted reality favorites like Summer House, The Valley, and several Real Housewives shows.

Against the odds

Along with work, Andy is juggling allegations made by several former housewives months ago. He called the claims “hurtful” and must have breathed a sigh of relief early in May when the network closed the investigation.

PEOPLE shared the network’s statement: “The outside investigation into the recent allegations against Andy Cohen made by Brandi Glanville and Leah McSweeney has been completed, and the claims were found to be unsubstantiated.”

However, that didn’t put the lawsuit to rest. Andy also filed to dismiss the discrimination claims made against him by Leah during her time with Real Housewives of New York. He said these allegations are “threadbare” and should be dismissed, while Leah’s attorney disagreed that the motion had merit.

Looks like Andy’s going to have to do some more juggling before this is over. Good thing he doesn’t mind working hard.
