Just one day after Angelica Ross called out Ryan Murphy, whose ghosting caused her to miss out on a chance to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, she is claiming that her former co-star, Emma Roberts, intentionally misgendered her during a transphobic interaction on the set of American Horror Story: 1984.

During an Instagram Live from Tuesday (Sept. 18), Ross explained that the alleged interaction occurred while the two were filming the ninth AHS installment of the hit anthology series in 2018. A third party named John stated, “Okay, ladies, that’s enough, let’s get back to work,” during an on-set break. Roberts, then, reportedly looked at Ross and stated, “Don’t you mean lady?”

The Scream 4 actress has since apologized. “Thank you @RobertsEmma for calling and apologizing, recognizing your behavior was not that of an ally. I will leave the line open to follow up on your desire to do better and support social justice causes with your platform,” Ross tweeted on Wednesday (Sept. 20).

Of her reaction to the initial incident, the Pose actress expressed, “I’m standing there. She walked away; my blood is boiling. Boiling because I’m like, if I say something, it’s gonna be me that’s the problem. And I know this because there was someone who spoke up about what she was doing and they got repercussions from it. Not her — they did. So when I saw that happening, I was just like, ‘I’m done. I’m done.’ I didn’t speak to that b***h the entire time after that.”

Ross stopped talking to Roberts because she reportedly was playing “mind games with everybody on set.”

After speaking out against Murphy, the 42-year-old promised on Twitter to tell fans about the “transphobic remarks my co-star said to my face, and the racism I complained about on set that they said was ‘free speech.’” She wrote, “We on strike so you know I got time this week.”

When seeing fans react to her blasting Roberts’ behavior, Ross joked, “Let me make something absolutely clear. I appreciate the support but please do not joke about violence towards Emma. Joke about her being held accountable. Now THATs funny.”
