Argentinean dance troupe Malevo performs March 23 at Goshen College's Music Center
GOSHEN — Malevo performs at 7:30 p.m. March 23 at the Goshen College Music Center.
Created by director, choreographer and dancer Matías Jaime and blending traditional rhythms with contemporary flair, Malevo is an all-male group that specializes in Malambo, a traditional Argentine folk dance of great virility and dexterity.
The group seeks to take Malambo beyond its limits with a modern, avant-garde and transgressive approach, merging it with other dance styles, such as flamenco and urban percussion.
The group has appeared on "America's Got Talent."
Tickets are $40-$25.
