Barry Keoghan Cheekily Reacts as Sabrina Carpenter Fangirls Over His Fellow Irish Actor Cillian Murphy

The luck of the Irish is on Sabrina Carpenter's side!

During Sunday's Vanity Fair Oscar Party, the "Skin" singer — who made her couple debut with Saltburn actor Barry Keoghan at the event — joked to the outlet, "If I see Cillian Murphy, I'm probably gonna leave the party. Probably just gonna leave with him."

"I'm not gonna leave with him. I'm just gonna leave at the same time as him so I can see where he lives. So I can, like, follow his car," quipped Carpenter, 24.

In a comment on Vanity Fair's video post, captured by @commentsbycelebs, Murphy's fellow Irish actor Keoghan, 31, left two emojis: "🙋🏻☘️."

Keoghan and Carpenter were first spotted grabbing dinner together in December 2023 after reportedly meeting at the Givenchy show during Paris Fashion Week the previous September.

In January, the pair stepped out in Los Angeles and stopped by Luna Luna, an art-centric theme park that recreates the original 1987 art amusement park in Germany.

"It definitely seemed like a date,” an onlooker told PEOPLE at the time of the duo's outing.

Carpenter and Keoghan, who've been spotted on multiple outings since, were “cute” together and “shared a little kiss,” the latter source added.

On Sunday, the two stars made their first red carpet couple outing, posing side-by-side during the Vanity Fair Oscar Party at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, California.

Meanwhile, Murphy, 47, took home the Academy Award for Best Actor earlier that evening for his starring role as the father of the atomic bomb, J. Robert Oppenheimer, in Christopher Nolan's star-studded epic Oppenheimer.

After thanking longtime collaborator Nolan, 53, and the latter's film producer wife Emma Thomas, Murphy took time to express his love and gratitude for Oppenheimer's complete cast and crew, and made rare comments about his own family.

"I love you so much, and I'm a very proud Irish man standing here tonight," the actor said, shouting out his wife of nearly 20 years, Yvonne McGuinness, and their two sons Malachy, 18, and Aran, 16.

Murphy continued, "We made a film about the man who created the atomic bomb. And for better or for worse, we're all living in Oppenheimer's world, so I would really like to dedicate this to the peacemakers everywhere."

He concluded his speech, "Go raibh míle maith agaibh" — an Irish saying which means "Thank you."
