Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy just revealed he had a major health issue: cancer.

On a post to X on Wednesday, the 47-year-old shared a video showing how he casually dropped the news to his team on a live episode of “The Dozens Trivia.”

His coworkers seemed shocked.

“I don’t make a big show of it,” said Portnoy, who refused to take off the bandage on his neck, saying that the scar looked like “Frankenstein.”

“I did have cancer,” said the controversial blogger’s caption. “ I beat it. It wasn’t the serious kind, thank God.”

The Massachusetts native who is now based in Miami did later show off the still-red incision in a snippet of “The BFFs Pod.”

“Is that stitches?” co-host Brianna LaPaglia asked.

“Yeah, cancer,” Portnoy responded to gasps.

“It’s not scary,” said the One Bite pizza reviewer. “I mean, it is, but it’s not. I add it to my list.”

The sun worshipper, who is often seen catching rays at his waterfront Morningside mansion, explains that a biopsy of something on his neck came back positive.

“I’m starting to get on top of myself, so I went to the doctor and did a skin thing. They scrape it, and one of them came back as cancerous so it’s like, gotta take it out. I got, I don’t know, it’s like 10 or 12 stitches in there...

“You don’t hear me complaining about it.”

Skin cancer is the abnormal growth of skin cells, most often caused by UV radiation from the sun. There are three major types — basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and melanoma. It is unclear what kind Portnoy had.

When used as directed, sunscreen of SPF15 or above can greatly decrease your risk of the disease.
