Ben Affleck made some rare comments about his marriage to Jennifer Lopez during an interview with Kevin Hart on the comedian’s show Hart to Heart, which...it seems safe to assume was recorded before all the recent speculation about their relationship??? But TBD!
During the convo (which is currently streaming on Peacock) Ben spoke about J.Lo's massive fame, saying, “We went somewhere with her—I can’t remember because she’s so famous, and she creates this—people love her, and she really represents something important to people.” He then did an impression of fans screaming her name and added, “It’s amazing, you know what I mean?”
The actor then spoke about visiting Times Square in NYC with J.Lo and their kids, saying traffic was bad so he told her, “Fuck it, baby, we’re going to be late...we gotta walk a block and a half.” Apparently, J.Lo “didn’t say shit,” but when they got out of the car and went through Times Square, “the shit was like a-fuckin' bananas.”
Mmmmkay! Anyway, Ben also chatted about his infamous sad face, saying, “I don’t mind, you can take my picture at a club or a premiere, whatever, with my wife, I don’t give a fuck. Knock yourself out. I don’t notice you. But with my children, that’s a different thing.” He then added that he's “a little bit shy” before noting, “I don’t like a lot of attention. This is why people see me and they’re like, 'Why is this dude always mad?' Because somebody has their camera sticking in my face, and I’m like, 'Okay, here we go.'”
