Ben and Erin Napier's Daughter Mae Had the Best Birthday Party Request
Home Town stars Ben and Erin Napier threw a very special birthday party for their youngest daughter Mae this weekend, and the theme screams "an almost three-year-old planned this party" in the best way!
Following their eldest daughter Helen's 6th birthday party in January, Erin revealed that the family of four keeps their birthday celebrations low-key, and their girls couldn't be happier (no balloon arches or extravagant cakes here). So when Mae voiced her simple, yet unconventional, birthday party request, Erin made it happen.
Mae Napier celebrated her spring birthday with a Christmas party, where dad Ben made an appearance in his fan-favorite Santa suit! The Home Town star pulled off the perfect warm-weather Christmas birthday party complete with Christmas music and water activities to beat the heat.
Erin shared photos of Mae with Santa and her white cake decorated with berries and three red candles. Red icing spells out "Mae is 3!"
"Our tiny baby is THREE and all she wanted was a Christmas party, so we made Christmas cookies and lit Christmas candles, brought a little potted tree with ornaments on the porch and grilled hot dogs, blew up a waterslide in the yard and listened to Bing Crosby 🌞🎄🎅🏻 #maeday," Erin wrote on Instagram.
Fans ran to the comments to wish Mae a happy birthday and a merry Christmas and commend the toddler for her creative genius. "Now that’s a fantastic party! Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday! I like the way Mae thinks! Merry 3rd Birthday! 🎄," "This is my favorite birthday post ever. "A girl after her dad's own heart❤️💚," another commenter pointed out.
Fellow HGTV star and toddler mom Jasmine Roth related to the wacky request. "So cute!!!! I can’t believe she’s 3. Also, is this Christmas party a thing because my daughter asked for it the other day too and it really surprised me! 😂😂," she said.
