There can be a few telltale signs around one’s house that might indicate their relationship status … and pop star Billie Eilish thinks you can tell she’s single, based on the state of her refrigerator.

The "Bad Guy" singer, 21, took to Instagram Stories with a series of photos that showed off the inside of her fridge where — evidently — disaster struck.

Evidently, a can of Diet Coke had exploded. It was unclear how long the mess was there, but it managed to cover the shelves and walls of her fridge in soda. The organization of Eilish’s fridge were also in disarray, with the shelves filled to the brim with various containers and bags of food. She showed off the mess in three grisly photos.

The first showed the degree to which her fridge was covered in soda.

The next showed a close-up of the spatter, as well as an empty shelf.

The last showed the underside of a shelf that probably sustained the most damage from the Diet Coke explosion.

After posting the photos of her messy fridge, Eilish posted an all-black slide, which read: “I’m so dead literally couldn’t be more single right now LMFAO what the hell is all this.”

Eilish’s last public relationship was with Jesse Rutherford, of the band The Neighborhood. The two were first spotted together in October 2022, and she confirmed their relationship about one month later.

And even though the couple parted ways in May 2023, Eilish has said they remained friends.
