Bindi Irwin’s Daughter Grace Is the Cutest ‘Adventure Buddy’ in a New Photo With Her Uncle Robert

Exploring the world with a friend is always more fun — hello, Lewis and Clark! — and Robert Irwin’s favorite “adventure buddy” just happens to be the cutest little girl: 3-year-old Grace Warrior! The late Steve Irwin’s son just shared an adorable photo with his niece (who is the daughter of Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell), and she is totally fearless.

“Love this little adventure buddy — I am the luckiest uncle ever!” the wildlife photographer wrote on Instagram today. He shared a photo of him and Grace hanging out outside. He smiles in an Australia t-shirt as he stands next to Grace. The toddler is all bundled up in a warm jacket and pants (it’s winter over there after all!), and sitting high on a tree branch. She gives the camera a slight, smirky smile — clearly proud of herself for climbing the tree, and it’s adorable.

Bindi commented, “The sweetest moment!” Someone else wrote, “Such a beautiful relationship you both have! 🤍 so lucky to have each other!”

Robert also shared a video of Grace on an adventure together: a crocodile research trip! “As we prepare for our upcoming crocodile research trip, we look back to some fun moments on last year’s Croc Trip 2023,” he captioned the video. “Grace loves adventure! 🐊

The video is a montage of Grace and Robert moments, beginning with Robert coaching Grace to say, “Welcome to the Wenlock.” Then, they ride a “turtle” (a small boat) over water to find crocodiles. Robert and another member of the Australia Zoo hop on one croc, then another croc splashes in the water. (Grace is sitting with her mom safely reading books while this goes on.)

Robert and Bindi’s mom Terri (and Grace’s “Bunny”) tells her granddaughter to pay attention to what the grownups are doing. “Watch carefully. You’re going to have to do this one day,” she coaches, as Grace looks on to men subduing another crocodile for research. See the full video on their YouTube Channel HERE.

The Irwins love introducing Grace to all the things they love about wildlife conservation, and she seems to be soaking it all in. We love watching all her adventures!
