Here’s How Bold and the Beautiful’s Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Picks Up Her Boys

While Steffy is a strong woman making tough decisions on The Bold and the Beautiful, her portrayer, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, is also a strong woman in real life. In a recent social media post, she illustrated just how physically strong she really is.

Weight Lifting Helps Her Daily Life

Some people like to pick their kids up with their car or SUV. Others like to greet the school bus and pick up their kids that way. B&B’s Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy) chooses a more literal approach to picking her boys up.

In June, she posted a video to Instagram that had two parts. In the first, she can be seen deadlifting a heavy amount of weight, and the text overlaying it states, “I do this, so I can do this.” The second half of the video shows her holding up her three sons, and she captioned it with three emojis: “🤍🦋💪🏼”

The Young and the Restless stars Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) and Tracey Bregman (Lauren) responded with copious amounts of applause emojis, while Lauralee Bell (Christine) posted hearts and clapping ones and MacInnes Wood replied with several hearts.

One fan asked, “How much weight did you deadlift? That impressive,” and her response was, “That was 135, now I’m at 155 😅.” We were suitably blown away by that number!

She Cheerfully Interacted With Her Fans

The conversation went in various directions, with some fans cautioning her to lift weights carefully so as not to hurt her back. Another wrote, “Yaaasss mama!!!! I’m sure at one point you’ve had to carry all 4 plus the two dogs…and Elan at the same time! 😂😂❤️❤️.”

Elan is MacInnes Wood’s husband, and she replied, “Bahahaha yup! And we got another dog yesterday! ❤️🐶🐶🐶.”

When a follower inquired as to what breed of dog it was, she wrote, “Cane Corso ❤️,” which is an Italian breed of mastiff that’s known for its loyalty, companionship, and skills guarding the humans it loves.

Others found inspiration from her video, as one follower replied, “Love you ❤️you are such an inspiration. I’m 71 years old, and I still go to the gym. Cardio upper body strength, and lower body strength, and I walk every day. You have been my favorite person on the show since you started, I have watched since the first episode.” She enthusiastically replied, “That’s fantastic! Good on you! Thank you for the love!”
