Mama's Broke at The Dairy: 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dairy Arts Center, 2590 Walnut St., Boulder. Mama's Broke is a powerful duo that deliver a compelling performance with heart and raw energy. Although highly influenced by their Canadian roots, Lisa and Amy are based out of nowhere and everywhere. Their two strong voices blend to create haunting harmonies while they artfully juggle fiddle, banjo, guitar and mandolin and incorporate traditional dance and foot percussion into their performance. Laurie Dameron has been playing the guitar for over five decades. Between solo performances and performances with her band, Laurie D and the Blues Babes, she has performed for hundreds of venues in and out of Colorado over the past 20 years. Antonio Lopez is a quiet man with something to say. His adept guitar work and composition skills are never used in a showy way.
