BTS Member Jin’s (Kim Seok-Jin) Military Release Date: When Is Jin Returning & Will He Attend BTS Festa June 2024 Event?

BTS Jin is returning from the mandatory military service. The release date of the BTS icon‘s military discharge is confirmed. After ending the hiatus, Kim Seok Jin will meet fans face-to-face at a Festa event.

Jin, the oldest member of BTS, enlisted in the military in December 2022 after releasing his solo track “Astronaut.” The song received 4.9 million U.S. streams and 44,000 downloads in its debut week and ranked number 51 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Since his solo debut, Jin has not released an album. So, after the member’s discharge from the military, fans expect to see Jin dropping an album soon.

BTS Jin release date: When will the K-pop idol return from the military?

BTS member Jin will reportedly be released from the military on June 12th. The 31-year-old K-pop singer will meet fans at BTS Festa Jin’s Greetings event on June 13 at 3 p.m. KST/ 2 a.m. ET will be at Jamsil Arena in Jamsil Sports Complex, Songpa-gu, Seoul, after the official discharge.

As per BigHit Music, a lucky 1000 fans will be able to meet Jin and get a hug at Jin’s greetings event. Later, another event will follow titled “Message from Jin,” where Jin will showcase various performances that fans have longed to watch.

For global fans who could not attend the Jin’s greetings incident in person, BTS’ label BigHit Music has arranged a live streaming of the second part of the program. BTS ARMY membership holders (GL, JP, US) can watch the event exclusively on Weverse.

Aside from Jin’s anniversary event, BTS fans will have plenty of events to celebrate the K-pop septet’s anniversary. The group’s special online live-streaming event, Bang Bang Con 2024, will air on June 8, 12 p.m. KST, 4 a.m. BST, 5 a.m. CET, June 7, 11 p.m. ET, and 8 p.m. PT. Fans can watch the live stream of Bang Bang Con 2024 on the BangtanTV YouTube channel.

Meanwhile, BTS Jungkook is also releasing a new song for Festa. The youngest Bangtan member’s new song release, “Never Let Go,” will drop on June 7 at 1 p.m. KST and 12 a.m. ET.
