You can gather much about someone's personality by knowing their horoscope sign, and celebrities are no exception.

Representing the crab and heralding the start of the summer season, Cancers are the nurturers of the zodiac, per astrologer and author Chani Nicholas.

"Cancers shine when they can care for and nurture ... [the people in their life]," she told PEOPLE. "They need to find a place in the world where that is valued."

Astrologer Gogo Akopyan of Lilith on Top Astrology added that while Cancers "can come off very emotional — moody, even," they are far from being passive. "People tend to underestimate them because they're so sensitive, but then the crab legs come out," she said. "They can be a very passionate people."

Other signature traits of this water sign include hardworking, creative and romantic — qualities we're certain these stars possess.

Lana Del Rey

The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter — born on the Gemini-Cancer cusp on June 21 — had her astrological chart misinterpreted for years.

"I'm still a romantic at heart, and I write these stories about people finding love when they least expect it," the writer and actress said during an October 2023 interview on Today. "So, of course, I'm open to that, and I believe in magic and timing."

Linda Cardellini

Born on June 25, the Emmy-nominated actress — who starred on Dead to Me — is just as emotional off-screen as she is on-screen.

"I cry a lot," Cardellini said during a 2019 appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers. "Somehow, when I'm watching animation, it breaks my heart ...
