Carol Burnett likes her drinks the way she likes them.

While attending a ceremony where Burnett, 91, got her hands and feet plastered into the ground outside the famous TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California, on Thursday, June 20, Laura Dern opened up to PEOPLE exclusively about the legendary star and her go-to drink order.

"She has an incredible card that she gives to bartenders for the 'Carol Burnett cosmopolitan,' " said Dern, 57.

"And it has her exact recipe," the actress continued, as television and film producer Jayme Lemons added, "Carol gives it to all bartenders. It has a little caricature of herself."

According to Dern and Lemons, Burnett's drink card inspired how they told the actress and comedian that she would be honored with the ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theatre.

The two created a similar card, only instead of Burnett's go-to drink order, an image of the star standing in front of the famed Hollywood attraction was featured.

"Jayme and I are together, one virtually and one in person, and said, 'We made up this card because you've inspired us so much as producers and everything you've done, and we love the card you've done for bartenders, so we wanted to give you one of our new cards,' " Dern explained.

"She takes it, and she's like, 'Wait, what?' And it was the card with her likeness," the Big Little Lies star added. "And then we told her."
