Carrie Underwood Takes a Tumble Off Stage After Epic Rain Show

Unfortunately, Carrie Underwood ended off one of her recent shows by falling off stage.

The country songstress was performing at the Carolina Country Music Fest in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on Sunday, June 9, when she took a tumble as she was exiting the stage after her headlining act.

Toward the end of her set, an unexpected heavy rainfall began in the area, naturally causing the stage to become very slippery.

But that didn't stop "The Champion" artist from doing what she came to do—the singer strutted out onto the stage to her perform her finale hit, "Before He Cheats," without missing a beat.

Underwood fell after delighting fans with the show-stopping display, as she was leaving the stage and heading down a set of stairs, and the incident was caught on camera by a concert attendee at the show.

TMZ obtained footage of the mishap, and luckily, though the slip seemed pretty sudden, the eight-time Grammy winner was not injured according to the update she shared on Monday, June 10.

After snippets of the rain-filled show surfaced on social media, fans flooded in with praise for the musical artist.

Despite the weather conditions, her willingness to push through and still deliver a riveting performance had fans calling her the "entertainer of the decade."

"Carrie Underwood at CCMF tonight was off the hook. Can’t say enough things about her. Energy every second of the set. Finished in a downpour and didn’t miss a beat. She was unreal," one gushed, while another said, "Drenched. Stayed to the end. Gave us everything she had. #Respect."

"Nobody could do a rain show in country music and still entertain the way she does. Absolute insanity from the Entertainer of the decade," a third complimented.

The following day, the "Two Black Cadillacs" songstress, herself, shared a highlight video from the night via X (formerly Twitter), confirming, "We won’t let a little rain stop us! We won’t let a massive downpour stop us, either!"
