Barry's is a popular boot camp-style gym chain that opened in West Hollywood in 1998.
Celebrities like David and Victoria Beckham, Kim Kardashian, Harry Styles, Sandra Bullock, Jake Gyllenhaal and more have been seen inside a Barry's, which is known for its high-intensity workouts that promise to torch calories and build muscle.
Now Barry's is opening a fitness studio in Scottsdale.

When is Barry's opening in Scottsdale?
While we don't have a confirmed date, Barry's posted on Instagram on Aug. 18, 2023, that the Scottsdale location would open in late 2023.
The studio will be open 365 days a year at 6107 N. Scottsdale Road, Suite C09
What is a Barry's workout?
The Barry's high-intensity interval training workout alternates between working with weights and running on a treadmill, with each day focusing on different muscle groups.
Is Barry's similar to Orange Theory?
Barry's and Orange Theory play in the same sandbox as they both combine HIIT and strength training.
The Barry's website states that the key difference between the two is that during Orange Theory workouts, exercisers wear heart rate monitors while at Barry's they don't.
What is so special about Barry's?
Barry's claims to be the original strength and cardio interval fitness regimen.
Can beginners go to Barry's?
There are no designated beginner classes at Barry's but no experience is necessary to join a class.
The workout is challenging. People can set their own speed and select the level of weights that are comfortable for them.
How much is a Barry's bootcamp membership?
A membership to Barry's comes in two categories: Originals and Originals Black.
The Originals membership has two payment options: 30 classes a month for $179 or 12 classes a month for $145.
The Originals membership will allow you to use the Scottsdale studio and provide early access to the opening week schedule, an invite to the opening party and Scottsdale merch.
The Originals Black membership offers 30 classes a month for $249 or 12 classes a month for $190.
The Originals Black membership includes everything in the Originals membership plus early booking, cancellation forgiveness, complimentary guest passes, unlimited complimentary shipping, waitlist priority and more.
