For the event, Dion wore a semi-sheer, white satin pussy bow top with a matching floor length maxi skirt. The pop star accessorized her simplistic look with two rows of bracelets, a ring on her right hand, sparkling earrings and a belt at the waist. Her last major appearance was at the 66th annual Grammy Awards on February 4, during which she presented Taylor Swift the album of the year award.

Rene-Charles kept his red carpet look simple as well, attending the event in a fitted black suit with a matching tie and white undershirt. His accessories were subtle, and included insect pins placed on his shirt collar and tie, and a large jeweled ring on his right pinky.

Inside the event, Dion took a moment to thank members of the audience—which included Kelly Clarkson, Gayle King and her neurologist, Dr. Amanda Piquet—for attending.

“This is by far the biggest crowd I’ve had in years,” she told the crowd, according to Us Weekly. “I hope to see you all again very, very soon. I cannot believe how fortunate I am to have my family in my life. [Thank you] from the bottom of my heart for being part of my journey. This movie is my love letter to each of you,”

"Your presence in my journey has been a gift beyond measure,” Dion continued. “Your never-ending love and support over all these years have delivered me to this moment tonight.”
