NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The music is still going strong for the final day of CMA Fest. In addition to free music at stages peppered throughout the streets of downtown Nashville, what makes CMA Fest unique is the opportunity for fans to meet their favorite artists.

Three-time CMA Award-winner Carly Pearce opened up what’s known as Carly’s Closet on Sunday, June 9. The pop-up shop features handpicked items of clothing, shoes, and accessories from Pearce’s personal collection, with sales benefiting the CMA Foundation.

Country music fans crowd Nissan Stadium for Night 3 of CMA Fest

“I used to come to Fan Fair as a kid and I would see all these unique experiences that artists would give to fans, and so when I was lucky enough to have my place here in country music, I knew that I wanted to do something, and so I kind of just created this thing where I thought, ‘Wouldn’t it be cool?’ I mean, I have all these outfits that sit in my closet after I’ve worn them, kind of like a bona fide huge yard sale, or also like ‘Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants,’ and just a unique way to say, ‘Here, literally take a piece of me home with you,'” Pearce explained.

The country fashionista admitted it was hard to part with some of the pieces.

“I want you to know, this is honest hour: I came in here this morning and I took one look around to make sure because I was like, ‘There’s some really good stuff in here,’ but I was like’ ‘Let it go, let it go, purge it,'” Pearce admitted with a laugh.
