Doona! Season 2 Release Date Rumors: Is It Coming Out?
It has only been a week since Doona! premiered on Netflix, but fans of the new South Korean series are curious as to whether or not the show has been renewed for a second season. Doona!’s story revolves around a college student who ends up becoming roommates with a retired but popular K-pop star.

Is there a Doona! Season 2 release date?
Doona! Season 2 does not have a release date as of this writing.
This is because Netflix has yet to renew the South Korean series for another season. Moreover, it is also too early to speculate when a second season will come out since Netflix is likely waiting on the overall viewership numbers and ratings of the first season before it decides on the series’ future.
Furthermore, while Doona! has scored a spot in the top ten lists of 67 countries, it is yet to reach that list in the United States, thus Netflix is likely waiting for that to also happen before it goes ahead with a second season.
However, another factor causing uncertainty over a Doona! Season 2 possibility is the bittersweet ending of the first season, which offers a conclusion that does not leave many avenues for future stories.
Doona! is created by Lee Jung-hyo, Jang Yoo-ha, and Min Song-a and stars Bae Suzy, Yang Se-jong, Ha Young, Park Se-wan, Kim Do-wan, and Kim Min-ho, among other cast members.
