Dule Hill To Co-Star In CBS Drama Pilot ‘Doubt'; Kobi Libii Also Cast

Psych star Dule Hill is returning to his drama roots with a co-starring role in the CBS hourlong pilot Doubt. Also cast in the project is Kobi Libii. The two join Laverne Cox.

, from longtime Grey’s Anatomy executive producers Tony Phelan and Joan Rater, Timberman/Beverly and CBS TV Studios, centers on Sadie, a smart, chic, successful defense lawyer at a boutique firm who shockingly gets involved romantically with one of her clients who may or may not be guilty of a brutal crime. Hill will play Albert, Sadie’s law partner and close friend with a good sense of humor who is working with her on a very high-profile case, representing a member of a prominent New York family. Libii plays Nick, a smart, ambitious and enterprising recent law school graduate who is determined to work with the best criminal defense attorney in New York.

Emmy-nominated Hill, repped by ICM Partners, Washington Square Arts and Fuller Downs, got his break on NBC’s White House drama The West Wing, where he co-starred for six years before segueing to his co-lead role opposite James Roday on the USA dramedy Psych. He just finished starring in the Broadway production of After Midnight and next will do a season-long arc on the new HBO comedy series Ballers starring Dwayne Johnson. Libii is with Stewart Talent, Bleecker Street Entertainment and Schreck Rose.
