Eva Mendes Just Sent Fans of Her & Ryan Gosling’s Romance Wild With a One-Word Response

This is not a drill! We may see Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling share the big screen again!
On May 5, Mendes shared a side-by-side pic of her and Gosling in bronzed, metallic looks. She shared the collage to her Instagram to promote Gosling’s new movie, The Fall Guy, with the caption reading, “Do you believe in happy endings ? Aliana & Space Cowboy together at last. If you know, you know…. @thefallguymovie ❤️.”

And while we adore the side-by-side pic, we’re kind of losing it over what she commented. In case you didn’t see it, a fan commented, “How amazing will be seeing you [and Ryan] together for another movie! 😍.”
And you know what Mendes said? She replied, “Soon!! 🙂 Lotsa amore to you!”
Soon?! Is she saying we’ll finally get a reunion of the lovebirds over a decade after the 2012 film The Place Beyond the Pines?! BRB, we’re currently losing it, and we can’t wait for any more updates (and Mendes’s possible return to the big screen after taking a years-long hiatus to take care of their daughters).
For those who don’t know, Gosling and Mendes were originally friends before their romance heated up on the set of the film The Place Beyond the Pines, as we said. They share two daughters together named Esmerelda, 9, and Amada, 8; and have kept their romance very private from the public eye. In fact, many still speculate if they’re married or not to this day.
These celebrity fathers are all proud to be “girl dads.”
