Even after belting out hundreds of Kellyoke covers by this point, Kelly Clarkson still manages to bring the shock factor to each performance.

In the most recent Kellyoke performance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the American Idol alum and her band, My Band Y’all, took on "You're Still The One" by Shania Twain.

And naturally, the comment section lit up with praise and compliments for Clarkson’s powerhouse vocals.

“After all of these years since Idol, you’re still the one Kelly,” one fan exclaimed under the YouTube video of the performance, as another one added, “Kelly is truly the total artist...she can belt out any genre of music!!”

One viewer called the cover "next level," while a second added that "she can sing anything.... all genres."

“My favourite Shania song and unsurprisingly Kelly covered it so beautifully,” another fan added of the song choice, as someone else echoed that she was the only one who “can do Shania’s songs justice.”

Others suggested that she needs to cover another hit of Twain's, noting, “You need to do 'Man! I Feel Like a Woman.'”

Clarkson’s choice also reignited the pleas for her to put out a country album, with one exclaiming, “We NEED a country album … please!”

Fans previously demanded that the pop singer venture into the country genre after several stellar covers, including her take on Chris Stapleton’s “I Was Wrong," Lainey Wilson's "Watermelon Moonshine,” "Why Don't We Just Dance" by Josh Turner, and Ashley McBryde's song “Bonfire At Tina's."

She’s even collaborated with country artists before, teaming up with Wilson for an "extra special" duet of "Heart Like a Truck.”

It doesn’t seem out of the realm of possibility, as the 42-year-old previously dabbled with the idea of a country album back in 2015, telling Time magazine that she was working on an album in the genre, though it never came to be after she released Piece by Piece.

After all these years of building anticipation, maybe the fan requests will pay off and finally convince her to make it happen.
