Fontaines D.C. have shared “Favourite,” the second single from their upcoming album, Romance, and its accompanying music video.

Debuted live at their show at Brooklyn’s Warsaw in May, “Favourite” is described by Fontaines D.C. vocalist Grian Chatten as having a “never-ending sound to it, a continuous cycle from euphoria to sadness, two worlds spinning forever.”

Indeed, the sentimental track features soaring guitars and contemplative lyrics highlighted by the repeated refrain, “You were my favorite for a long time.”

In the self-directed music video for “Favourite,” Fontaines D.C. intersperse childhood footage of the band members with clips of a recent trip to Madrid. Watch it below.

Romance is out August 23rd via XL Recordings and features the first single, “Starburster,” which topped our 100 Best Songs of the Year (So Far) list. In support of the album, Fontaines D.C. have mapped out a  North American tour beginning in September. Get tickets here.
