Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Red Moon Pact Ep 14 Recap & Spoilers: Yang Mi Helps Gong Jun Open His Business

The ongoing fantasy C-drama Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Red Moon Pact, starring Gong Jun and Yang Mi, released episode 14 on May 28, 2024. The episode focuses on Yuechu’s (Gong Jun) newly established business in the human market. Hong Hong (Yang Mi) and Ya Ya help him attend to his customers. Ya Ya finds it annoying that Yuechu is not paying any attention to the women who come to his shop. On the other hand, Hong Hong gets jealous of Yuechu’s close interactions with his female customers.

While strolling through the market with Yuechu, Hong recalls what Yuechu had told her earlier. Though others in her clan think of her as a strong protector and the clan chief, Yuechu was the first to take her human emotions into account. He told her not to feel guilty for feeling pain or having feelings. Their bond strengthens as Yuechu shares his childhood memories of his parents. For the first time, Hong Hong sees him in a new light.

Hong Hong is sad to hear about frequent spirit attacks on humans. Evil spirits attack humans and leave them to die. Yuechu assures her that the situation will get better with the help of the newly found spirit alliance.

Meanwhile, Jin Renfeng is in insufferable pain after losing his divine flame. Shi Ji brings him an antidote called the refined spirit pill. But she also warns him that his heart might give out because of the strong pill. Although it has the ability to restore his spirit fame to its peak, it can also make him cripple. Renfeng ignores her warning and consumes the pill.

Yuechu continues to care for Hong Hong. He cooks her delicious meals and even spends time with her in her chamber. Hong Hong has started to ease up with him as well.

Hong Hong playfully jokes with him and even shares her thoughts with him. She expresses her wish for him to find a suitable human companion. But Yuechu is not ready to be with any human. He reminds her that he has grown up and urges her to see him as her perfect match. Yuechu’s ambivalent words flutter Hong Hong’s heart.

However, not everyone in the clan is happy to see Yuechu and Hong Hong’s closeness. One of them is the elder spirit of the clan. He thinks that it is selfish of Hong Hong to ignore her responsibilities for a human, that too a descendant of the Dongfang family. The elder thinks that Hong Hong should rather focus on Shi Ji, who is determined to finish off the Tushan clan. Even though Hong Hong tries to hide it, it is quite evident that she is lonely and has fallen for Yuechu. Yet, the elder does not think he is the right match for her.

Meanwhile, Jin Renfeng learns about the spirit alliance. He plans to use it against the Tushan clan soon so no one will prevent him from reaching Yuechu.

Lai and Hong Hong investigate the whereabouts of Shi Ji. After her latest defeat, she hasn’t stirred up any more trouble.

Meanwhile, Jin Renfeng attempts to win the trust of the members of the spirit alliance. He attacks them with lethal silver butterflies and later saves them to befriend them. Fu Cheng is caught by Ren Feng trying to send a message to Yuechu. He tortures her until she sends him an alternate message, asking him to meet her outside Tushan.

Hong Hong goes into the forest. Jin Renfeng creates an evil formation using the dead bodies of the alliance members. He attacks Hong Hong with his dark powers.
