‘It’s so freaking cute.’ Taylor Swift fans couldn’t grab this Chiefs cap fast enough

Some Taylor Swift fans couldn’t believe what they were seeing on a Kansas City Chiefs baseball cap sold on the team’s official merchandise website.

A friendship bracelet?

It sure was. And no surprise, because we know how much Swifties love their merch, they couldn’t get their hands on that NFL-licensed cap fast enough. Some fans on social media said it was their first piece of Chiefs gear.

Embroidered underneath the team’s arrowhead logo on the front is a beaded bracelet that reads “Super Bowl LVIII Champions.”

And if that reference wasn’t obvious enough, a pair of red lips are right next to it along with one of those heart hands Swift likes to flash. (Boyfriend and Chiefs star Travis Kelce flashes hearts, too.)

The description for the $29.99 hat calls it a “unisex New Era black Kansas City Chiefs In My Champ’s Era A-frame 9FORTY adjustable hat.” (Fanatics, not the Chiefs, operates the website and all NFL merchandise shops online.)

“Got mine today too! Was going to ‘share’ it with my daughter but she’s claimed it 100%. It’s so freaking cute and even cuter on her!” X user @TotheNichols wrote about the hat, just one of many who went gaga for it.

“Ten out of 10! Thirteen out of 10! Eighty-seven out of 10!” superSwiftie Alex Day gushed in a TikTok, referencing Swift’s lucky number 13 and Kelce’s jersey number.

(Someone missed an opportunity by not including 13 or 87 in the price. Just saying.)

The story of how Kelce had a bracelet with his phone number on it ready to give her when she performed last summer at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium is now Swiftie lore.

He didn’t get a chance to meet her that hot night in July, but he didn’t really need the gesture anyway and now those bracelets have special meaning for Chiefs Kingdom.

Even fans of other teams wanted the new bracelet hat.

“It’s so adorable,” gushed one fan on X. “It’s crazy how much I want this hat considering I live in California, am a 49er fan, and don’t wear hats. But every time I see it I freak out and want to buy it.

“I’m torn on whether I want it to come back in stock. lol.”
