Jared? Jared?! JARED! Oh. It's just you, reader. Pardon me. After finishing the series finale of Full Circle—which aired on Max last night, I'm still stuck in Steven Soderbergh Panic Mode.

If you're like me, it's a bummer to read those words: series finale. Full Circle has been billed as a limited series, so we likely won't see a second season of the crime thriller. Which is unfortunate—even though Full Circle finished just outside of the most recent update to our best TV of the year list, the series has been one of my favorite watches this summer. That said, Soderbergh, who created the series, did offer a bit of hope about Full Circle's future. “None of the major themes in either of those projects is going anywhere anytime soon,” Soderbergh told Rotten Tomatoes. “Especially in New York, I think there’s a version of Full Circle that you could make every year that involves two completely different groups of people up to things that either they shouldn’t be up to or that are built on foundations that they have not acknowledged are corrupt.”

By the looks of it, Soderbergh may have imagined Full Circle as an anthology series, which I'd love to see. Not the best news for folks who grew emotionally attached to Natalia and Louis, but maybe Soderbergh will have mercy on us. In the meantime, we'll keep this story updated with any news about Full Circle's future.
