General Hospital Recasts Someone Near and Dear to Maxie’s Heart

Few characters on General Hospital have had as dramatic a life as little Bailey Jones — and she’s only three! But that’s what happens when you’re the daughter of Maxie and a bonafide supervillain like Peter August.

She was born after Maxie escaped from Peter’s fake nurse and after a fight in the woods, given to Brook Lynn to raise for a bit to protect her from Peter. She was then passed off as another sometimes villain’s daughter — Valentin — until he learned she wasn’t his. After that, Chase claimed to be the tot’s kid for a bit before she finally made her way back to her real mom, Maxie!

Luckily, Peter’s dead and gone and Maxie can raise Bailey without fear these days, though we haven’t seen Bailey onscreen in over a year. But all that’s about to change as twins Riley and Miley Plonski have taken over the role and are about to debut, according to the Zuri Agency on Instagram.

Hopefully now we’ll see little Bailey interact with her siblings, Georgie and James a bit more. We do hear that the Metro Court pool is a fun place to hangout! Though Bailey might enjoy some outdoor activities a bit more — if their adorable strawberry picking Instagram post is any indication!

Perhaps one of the best parts, though, is that the twins are bringing Bailey back just in time for Mac’s return. They were on-hand at Good Morning America when John J. York celebrated his return to General Hospital and shared a clip writing, “We are so grateful to have gotten to meet such a strong and kind man! He was definitely a great fake grandpa!”

And if Cody finally gets his act together and tells Mac that he’s his son, maybe we’ll finally see the whole Jones/Scorpio together for, well, pretty much the first time ever!
