We’re back in the Goat Manor for this week’s episode of The GOAT. If you watched last week’s showing, you saw Reza was sent packing after his Bravo teammate, Jill, helped rally the troops to vote him out. This week is even more explosive, with twists and turns you had no idea were coming. Here’s everything that went down in The GOAT Season 1, Episode 7: Every GOAT For Themselves.

Joe Amabile is The GOAT in Season 1, Episode 7.

Grocery store Joe finally got his win. The Bachelor Nation star was the best of the best in this week’s competition, which involved the contestants counting to 60 in their heads while listening to pots and pans, a rock band, and a cheerleading team.

Although Joe has wanted to win in the past, it was crucial for him this week since he knew the targets were either him or Wendell. Plus, Daniel Tosh, the show’s host, told the stars at the beginning of the episode that the format was changing. Instead of them competing on teams, every GOAT would fight for themselves. So, there’d be no more hoping you get placed on the winning team for the elimination challenge. The only way a player could secure their safety was to win. Period.

Another change is that by the end of the episode, only two players would be up for elimination. Whoever lost the next day’s elimination challenge would secure one spot, while the other had to be chosen by the GOAT out loud during the GOAT challenge.

Of course, Joe chose Wendell (because, let’s face it, he was the best) and tried to save face. “I feel bad,” Joe said in his confessional. “But I would be foolish not to pick Wendell because … he voted for me twice. I’m playing to win, and I just put the best player on the chopping block.”

The thing is, though, Joe’s plan could absolutely crumble. The chosen player for elimination could pull themselves off the block if they win the elimination challenge. “Wrinkle, wrinkle,” as Tosh said.

For this week’s elimination challenge, the remaining reality stars had to spin a giant wheel with different tasks on them. If they completed the task successfully, they’d remain in the game. If they quit, they’d be out. Oh, and the first person to tap out would be the second nominated guest. So, needless to say, a lot was riding on this competition.

Joe spun the wheel first, and it landed on “COCKROACHES.” After hearing the instructions, we learned that the Bachelor In Paradise Star had to put his head in a box full of roaches and retrieve three tiny plastic goats.

Wendell was second, and unfortunately for him, his challenge wasn’t so easy. The wheel landed on “HOT STUFF,” which meant the Survivor winner had to eat a habanero pepper doused in ghost sauce and topped with reaper powder dust. He did it, but not without a fight. “It’s got me good,” he told producers in his confessional. “There’s some funniness in my tummy-ness right now.”

As the competition continued, players began dropping out, including Jill, who struggled to eat the spicy rice in front of her. Tapping out also made her the second nomination at the night’s elimination ceremony. Paola was eliminated next, followed by Da’Vonne, then Joe, and CJ.

Wendell was due up again. However, the reality star lost after he failed to eat three hotdogs with mustard in under a minute, which ultimately made Jason the winner.

Will Wendell be able to pull himself out of this one? Check it out below.

Wendell Holland was the eighth reality star eliminated from The GOAT Season 1.

After weeks of dodging the block, Da’Vonne got her way, and Wendell found himself on the block. Tosh revealed the votes, and after receiving a majority of them, the CBS legend said his final goodbyes. Unlike some of the others that had gone before him, Wendell kept it classy, wishing the final six players the best of luck. Back inside the house, CJ began plotting how she might be able to split up the girls’ alliance to stop Day from marching to the end. But will she be successful?

We’ll find out next week in Prime Video’s The GOAT.
