Gucci Mane Brings T.I. Out During Atlanta Performance, Both Make Amends

Beef in Hip-Hop can be very entertaining, but it is equally enjoyable to see two popular rappers make amends. Gucci Mane and T.I. resolved their tensions this week during a show in Atlanta.

Guwop had a show at The Tabernacle on Tuesday (Oct. 17), which numerically is a special day for him as it represents 1017 Brick Squad. The show was in support of his newest album Breath Of Fresh Air and the 43-year-old rapper made it worth fans’ while as he brought out multiple surprise guests, namely Latto, Quavo, and Key Glock. However, none had a bigger impact than when he introduced the crowd to TIP.

LaFlare told the crowd he wanted to do something special for the city of Atlanta, and then T.I.’s classic record “24’s” blared through the speakers. After a brief performance, the duo gave each other their flowers onstage. The ATL actor celebrated 20 years of his 2003 album Trap Muzik this year and told Gucci that trap music wouldn’t be what it is without him. Check out the moment below.

Gucci Mane and T.I.’s reconciliation comes after a nearly 11-year feud. It began in 2012 due to TIP’s close relationship with Jeezy, another former rival of Gucci’s. The “Freaky Girl” rapper released his Jeezy diss track “Truth” that year and mentioned the Grand Hustle founder.

T.I. was asked about the bars in an interview with Hot 107.9 at the time and appeared unbothered. “Man, I got the money in mind,” he said. “I got the sights set on a big sack with a lot of money in it, man. I’m talkin’ like multi-million dollar conglomerate type stuff… Anything that’s not of that nature and understanding, I don’t really see it. So I really don’t know what you’re asking me about.”

The two also went back and forth a few years later after Guwop claimed he invented trap music. “Ok,so…. AGAIN for the slow ones in the back… August 19th, 2003 Birth of Trap Muzik & Only fools dispute facts!!!” TIP wrote in an Instagram post. “FOH wit that Christopher Columbus a**… ‘Look what I discovered, even though they was already here a** sh*t!!!!’ WITCHO GOOD CAPPIN A**.” Check out the post below.
