Gwyneth Paltrow is apparently very tuned into the Kate Middleton news cycle.

After the Princess of Wales made her first appearance of 2024 at this past weekend's Trooping the Colour, Paltrow was in the comments of the Prince and Princess of Wales's Instagram post. "So happy to see you looking so happy and well," Paltrow wrote, adding a red heart emoji. As of this writing, her comment had nearly 6,000 likes.

Paltrow is friends with a few royals, including Kate's brother and sister-in-law, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Last year, the Sussexes reportedly went out for dinner with Paltrow and her husband Brad Falchuck. (They're neighbors in Montecito!)

In addition, Paltrow is friendly with Princess Märtha Louise of Norway and her fiancée, Durek Verrett. "Meeting amazing people that make us grow is such a gift of life, don’t you think?" Princess Märtha Louise posted on Instagram in 2019, in a selfie with Paltrow. "Meeting @gwynethpaltrow was such a gift. Your wisdom, strength, your clear vision and soft personality with a great sense of humor is so inspiring. Thank you for being who you are and for receiving us all with open arms. So looking forward to our next encounter."

Plus, back in 2011, Paltrow met Prince Philip at a launch for Mayfair's The Arts Club, and she's met King Charles and Queen Camilla as well.

It's unclear if Paltrow and the Princess of Wales have ever met; perhaps Paltrow is just paying attention to the news regarding Kate's health. Last week, in a personal update, the Princess wrote, "I am making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days. On those bad days you feel weak, tired and you have to give in to your body resting. But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well."

She added, "My treatment is ongoing and will be for a few more months. On the days I feel well enough, it is a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do a little work from home."
