When is America's Got Talent returning with new episodes?

Fans may want to mark their calendars, because a new episode of AGT will return to NBC on June 25, 2024 at 8 p.m. ET.

As for the reason behind the unexpected switch-up in scheduling, this is due to the network airing the Olympic and Paralympic Trials ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympics.

According to a post on Instagram, folks will be able to tune in to see hopefuls vie for a place on Team USA in swimming, diving, track and field, and gymnastics from June 15-June 23, with the swimming portion of the trials being held in Indianapolis. What's more, the swimming trials will premiere in the same time slot usually occupied by AGT, with the diving trials airing from Knoxville, Tennessee right after at 9:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

"The toughest team to make 😤," read the official caption on June 12. "Team USA comes together at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Team Trials. ➡️."

What's more, AGT also confirmed the news of the change in programming, as the show gave more of an explanation of what's happening on Instagram.

"Watch some of the best athletes in the country compete to make Team USA until #AGT returns June 25," the caption read on June 14. "Don’t miss the U.S. Olympic Team Trials starting tomorrow on @nbc and streaming on @peacock."

Despite the change in timings, fans of AGT don't need to worry. The show is still in the middle of airing the auditions for season 19, with the live shows starting up later this summer on August 13.
