Holiday in the Sun! Mark Wahlberg, 46, Goes Shirtless for Family Christmas Card

Mark Wahlberg and family ditched the ugly holiday sweaters for warmer weather attire this year.

The actor shared the Wahlberg family’s Christmas card on his social media pages Tuesday, showing a casual portrait of the brood hanging out in swimwear. While Walhberg went shirtless for the snap, his four children – Ella, 14, Michael, 11, Brendan, 9, and Grace, 7 – wore bathing suits and his wife, Rhea Durham, wrapped up in a blue towel.

“Hope, Faith, Love – Thankful for God’s many blessings. Best wishes, The Wahlberg Family – 2017,” the card read.

In the photo, the 46-year-old was without the toned muscles and six-pack abs that he’s been showing off on his Instagram page lately. Wahlberg told Men’s Health for the cover of their January/February issue that he’s been kicking his workout into high gear for his upcoming movie, Mile 22. The CIA thriller is directed by Peter Berg, his director for Patriot’s Day, Lone Survivor and Deepwater Horizon.

“I’ve been fat in all of Peter’s movies,” Wahlberg said. “For this one I’m going to be down to 6 percent body fat.”

However, the Daddy’s Home 2 star admits his age has caught up with him to some degree.

“I don’t play basketball anymore because I don’t want to roll an ankle and miss a movie or screw up my golf game,” he explained, adding that now he’ll stick to the Versaclimber, a machine similar to a stairclimber, golf and jumping rope.

But Wahlberg’s kids are growing up too – and starting to date.

The father of four stopped by Live with Kelly and Ryan last month and dished a little about how his oldest child, Ella, once brought a young male visitor to dinner (who attended with his mom), but Wahlberg never saw him again after that night.

“It was one of those things where I was like, ‘Oh, this boy is really nice,’ and now he’s not around anymore — I don’t know what happened,” he explained.

“But I was not trying to intimidate him,” the star insisted. “It had nothing to do with me. I guess the relationship just didn’t work out, and somehow I got blamed.”
