MUNCIE, Ind. — Two evenings of Shakespearean theater will be staged Saturday and Sunday at Minnetrista Museum and Gardens.

On Saturday, from 7 to 9 p.m., audiences are invited to experience "the timeless tale of love and tragedy" in "Romeo & Juliet," according to a release from Minnetrista.

Then, on Sunday, also from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., "a world of magic and mischief" will come to life with "A Midsummer Night’s Dream."

Due to the extreme heat, Saturday's presentation of "Romeo and Juliet" has been moved indoors to the Center Building at Minnetrista.

Sunday's presentation of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" is still set to be staged on Minnetrista's east lawn, although officials will be "monitoring the temperatures as the weekend progresses."

Both performances are free, made possible by the support of Muncie Public Library and The Community Foundation of Muncie & Delaware County.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase both evenings starting at 6:30 p.m.
