Jason Momoa Breaks His Silence About Romance With Adria Arjona & We Are Swooning

Jason Momoa went Instagram official with his new girlfriend, Adria Arjona, in May, but he’s been silent about their blossoming relationship until now. The dynamic duo shares a love for motorcycles, and that is just one of the bonds that is keeping their love strong.

At the premiere of The Bikeriders, the 44-year-old actor shared with Entertainment Tonight that “my lady likes to ride” after he was asked if he had taken his girlfriend out on his bike. It’s not so bad for the action star having Arjona wrap her arms around her man, and he admitted, “Any excuse for more hugs.” The 32-year-old actress wasn’t next to Momoa during the interview, but she was seen in the background patiently waiting for her boyfriend to return by her side. The couple who rides together, stays together.

Momoa and Arjona were recently in Japan and shared a carousel of snapshots from their trip, even referring to her as “mi amor.” They were cuddled up together at a restaurant and she even got her own solo shot in the gallery — it’s true love for the Aqua Man star. Since then, Momoa hasn’t been shy about featuring Arjona on his social media page with the two of them locking hands on the red carpet of The Bikeriders — and we aren’t talking about just one photo, he posted four images. His swoon-worthy efforts show how important Arjona is to his life.

The couple met in 2012 on the set of the Netflix film, Sweet Girl. He was married to Lisa Bonet at the time, but behind the scenes, they were already separated. Momoa and Bonet had called it quits on Oct. 7, 2020, and finally settled their divorce in January 2024. Arjona married lawyer Edgardo Canales in 2019, but it’s unclear whether they are officially divorced yet. No matter what, the Kravitz-Momoa household is a big fan of Arjona’s. She will next appear in Zoë Kravitz’s directorial debut, Blink Twice, with Channing Tatum.

The movie doesn’t come out until Aug. 23, but we have a feeling that there will be more red-carpet PDA from Momoa and Arjona ahead — only this time, it’s her big night. It also wouldn’t be surprising to see Momoa bring Arjona as his date to Kravitz’s upcoming wedding to Tatum. It’s one big, blended family, and it looks like Arjona is a part of that clan now.
