Jeff Lewis Shares Insight on Dorit Kemsley & PK's Split: "I Knew Long Before..."

Jeff Lewis is shedding new light on Dorit Kemsley and Paul "PK" Kemsley's recent separation announcement.

In case you missed it, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills diamond holder and her husband of just over nine years confirmed their split in a joint statement that they posted on their respective Instagram feeds on May 9. Since then, numerous people in the couple's inner circle have been weighing in, including Kyle Richards and her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky; former RHOBH cast member Lisa Vanderpump; and, now, Jeff Lewis.

"Well, I had known that they were living apart long, long, long before," the Flipping Out alum revealed during an episode of Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp's podcast, Two Ts in a Pod, confirming that he heard about the couple's issues before Erika Jayne said the couple would be next to split up at BravoCon 2022.

Jeff went on to share where he heard this information.

"I have a mutual friend of PK’s and so that person, in confidence, and I have not, I never said anything on the air because this person told me in confidence, ‘Do not say anything,’ and I didn’t," Jeff continued on the podcast. "Believe it or not, I can keep — once in a while — I can keep a secret. But I knew long before that he was living in a hotel, and, you know, it’s been going on for a long time."

Though Jeff believes that Dorit and PK have been dealing with marital issues for quite some time, he thinks that RHOBH Season 14 will be very "interesting" because the separation is so fresh.

"This is really what is happening in their real lives..." Jeff said.

In addition to Jeff's recent comments, former diamond holder Lisa Vanderpump recently discussed how she "wasn't surprised" by Dorit and PK' separation during an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

"I do have a mutual friend — well, a few mutual friends actually, with PK — and I kind of heard from the hotel that he was staying in for many months, that they had been separated for quite a long time," Lisa said on the show about the alleged information she heard. "On and off, backwards and forwards. So no, it didn't surprise me."

Dorit's fellow castmate, Kyle, shared her sympathy for the pair during an Amazon Live stream on May 15.

"I feel bad for them, obviously you know going through that is difficult enough without everybody wanting to know all the details," Kyle said. "So, you know, I feel terribly for them."

Her estranged husband, Mauricio, showed support for Dorit and PK by liking Dorit's announcement post on Instagram.

Garcelle, who is also returning to RHOBH for Season 14, felt "sad" for the estranged spouses, as she's been through a similar situation before.

"I think it's sad any time a family breaks up," she told Entertainment Tonight about the pair's split. "I've been through it."
