Jonathan Scott is looking forward to his (distant) future with fiancée Zooey Deschanel!

In a sweet Instagram Reel posted on Wednesday, the HGTV star, 45, can be seen writing a love letter to Deschanel alongside chocolate and roses he plans to give her for Valentine’s Day. In the funny clip, he also includes a voiceover of himself thinking through the message as he writes.

“Dear Zooey, It’s Valentine's Day — prepare to be romanced. Wait, that sounds weird,” he jokes. “It’s Valentine’s Day and there’s so much I love about you that I’m gonna need more paper. You are incredible. Your smile, your laugh, those eyes — do not even get me started on those eyes. Oh, and you’re the most amazing cook, which works out because I am an amazing eater.”

He adds that the couple was “destined for each other” and they always “have such a good time” together. “I guess my big question is, why the heck did we wait so long to meet each other?”

He concludes with a cheeky sign off: “I can’t wait to be your husband and I can’t wait to continue making you laugh and still be pinching your butt at 90 years old. I love you to the moon and back.”

The New Girl alum included lines like “renovations are my love language” and “I wanna knock down walls with you” alongside images taken from Deschanel’s appearance on one of Scott’s HGTV shows, Celebrity IOU, in 2020.

“Just me and my Valentine ❣️,” she captioned the Instagram post.
