Netflix K-drama Miss Night and Day premiered on Saturday, June 15, 2024, on the streamer and JTBC. Starring Jung Eun-Ji and Lee Jung-Eun in lead roles, the fantasy comedy K-drama revolves around a young woman in her twenties who is mysteriously turning 50.

The official synopsis on Netflix reads, “A woman who magically switches between her 20s and 50s lands an internship at the Prosecution Service, caught between two generations and a tough boss.”

Lee Mi-Jin is a part-timer and a job seeker looking for a permanent position in a law firm. She has struggled to find her dream job in her twenties. Magically, one day, she ages into her fifties, leaving her in shock. As Im Sun, she lands the job she always wanted.

The new Netflix K-drama Miss Night and Day cast include Jung Eun-Ji, Lee Jung-Eun, Choi Jin-Hyuk, and Baek Seo-Hoo in prominent roles.

Eun-Ji plays Lee Mi-Jin, a woman in her twenties seeking a permanent job. Despite constantly preparing for interviews, she struggles to land a well-paid job. Later, things become confusing when, one day, Mi-Jin mysteriously turns into a 50-year-old woman. The actress is a talented South Korean artist who is also a singer and band member of the girl group Apink.

One of her noteworthy K-dramas was Reply 1977, for which she has won several awards. Eun-Ji has also appeared in projects such as That Winter, the Wind Blows, Untouchable, Blind, and Apink Special Movie: Horn.

Jung-Eun essays the role of Im Sun in the new Netflix drama. She plays Mi-Jin’s 50-year-old version. With the body of a middle-aged woman, Im Sun behaves like a 20-year-old, adding comedy to her character and storyline. While Mi-Jin becomes Im Sun during the day, she returns to her original form at night.

Actress Jung-Eun is a senior artist in the South Korean entertainment industry. Previously, she has appeared in several well-known dramas, including Daily Dose of Sunshine, Behind Your Touch, Our Blues, Soundtrack #1, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Fight for My Way, and Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo. Jung-Eun was also part of the award-winning movie, Parasite.

In Miss Day and Night, Choi Jin-Hyuk plays Gye Ji-Ung. He is a prosecutor who gets entangled in Mi-Jin’s day and night saga. Interestingly, he falls for Mi-Jin and finds similarities with Im Sun. Jin-Hyuk has performed many roles as an actor. Some of his K-dramas include It’s Okay, Daddy’s Girl, Fated to Love You, Pride and Prejudice, The Last Empress, and Mr. Queen.

Also, Baek Seo-Hoo appears in the Netflix series as Ko Won. In the trailer, he and I Sun spend a lot of time together. Previously, the actor has worked in dramas like Color Rush Seasons 1 & 2, Love Revolution, and Sound Candy.

Additionally, Miss Night and Day also stars Yoon Byung-Hee, Moon Ye-Won, Kim Kwang-Shik, Kim Mi-Ran, Choi Moo-In, Kim Jae-Rok, Bae Hae-Seon, and Jung Jae-Sung. Jung Young-Joo and Jung Suk-Yong will play Eun-Ji’s parents in the drama.

Miss Night and Day new episode release date & time in US & India

Miss Night and Day has premiered two episodes on June 15-16 on JTBC and Netflix. Meanwhile, new episode 3 will air on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. KST on JTBC. It will be released at 9:30 a.m. ET in the US and at 7:00 p.m. IST in India. After the network release, the K-drama will later be available to stream on Netflix on the same day.

Consisting of 16 episodes, the new series airs new episodes twice a week — every Saturday and Sunday.
