Kate Middleton's Brother Shares Sweet Snap of His Son

Kate Middleton's brother, James, is an active Instagram user—and he just shared the sweetest snap of his new son.

In a new post, he wrote, "I wish moments like this could last forever," adding a red heart emoji and a paw print emoji. James explains he captured it after he spoke about his memoir, Meet Ella, for the first time—with his wife, Alizée, and their son, Inigo, supporting him.

"Ella was there at so many of the important moments of my life, including when I met Alizee. Our son was born after Ella passed away so Inigo never got to meet her, but it’s important to me that he knows all about her," he told Tatler. "Another of the reasons that I wanted to write this book was so that I could tell Inigo the story of how I met his mother."

Meet Ella: The Dog Who Saved My Life will be published this fall, and though the focus will be on James and his therapy dog, the memoir will undoubtedly bring a spotlight on the Middleton family. The book's description notes that the memoir will feature memories of James's childhood in Berkshire—which will almost certainly include stories of his sisters, Kate and Pippa.

Though the Middletons are famously private, when Kate's cancer diagnosis was announced, James posted on Instagram a message of support for her. "Over the years, we have climbed many mountains together. As a family, we will climb this one with you too," he wrote.
