A-list actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Benicio del Toro were recently spotted in Downtown El Paso.

DiCaprio was seen filming, while del Toro visited Cafe Central, sparking excitement among El Pasoans. The sightings follow speculation fueled by a mysterious Warner Bros. truck, hinting at a possible film shoot.

A nonprofit group, Habitat for Humanity Re-store, may have an answer after a set decoration buyer and his wife visited the small business, said Nancy Gomez, its general manager.

"They bought ceiling fans, a glass trophy cabinet, a vintage box and a stove," she said. "They also bought a bunch of hardware."

In early May, the Northeast discount store received its first visit from customers who made several purchases in subsequent weeks. Initially unassuming, Gomez was surprised when one customer, Sam Tell, a renowned set decorator known for his work on films such as "Captain Marvel," "Ant-Man," and "Captain America," handed her a business card.

"What they told me is most of the movie had been filmed out in California," she said. "There was going to be some on-location filming in El Paso. They are trying to get everything set up; that's all I know."

While Tell did not disclose when the film would be shot in El Paso, his simple, black-and-white business card did display the name "BC Project."

The project, dubbed the "BC Project" on IMDB, boasts star power, including DiCaprio, del Toro, and Sean Penn, under the direction of acclaimed filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson.

The general manager for the nonprofit group, Habitat for Humanity Re-store, supplied the card of the set decorator. The “BC Project,” according to IMDB, includes a star-studded lineup with names like Leonardo DiCaprio, Benicio del Torro, and Sean Penn.
