Lindsay Hubbard is coming clean about something that's been bothering her since she was "younger" — and what she's doing to address it. Plus, she gave us an innovative idea for Summer House viewing parties. (PS: Season 8 premieres on Thursday, Feb. 22 at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo, and you can catch a sneak peek of it in the clip above.) Keep scrolling to see the steps Lindsay's taking to boost her confidence.

Lindsay Hubbard opens up about acne scars and "imperfections"

In a series of Instagram Stories from January 24, Lindsay revealed her exact skincare routine. To start, she shared a photo of herself in a spa robe, smiling mid-fault treatment at Tribeca Medspa.

"One of my biggest insecurities (lol feels appropriate to say skinsecurities in this moment) ... Anyway... has always been old acne scarring from when I was younger," she wrote. "I also film a show that takes place during the summertime where we are in the natural sunlight and imperfections show a lot easier!"

Her post continued: "My dermatologist [Georgina Ferzli] and I have worked over the past 4 years using different lasers (CO2, microneedling, fraxel, Clear + Brilliant, laser genesis) to minimize my acne scars, discoloration, texture, etc."

Lindsay Hubbard describes her experience with microneedling

In the next slide, the Hubb House PR founder wrote: "I've always found I like the results from microneedling the best. It usually hurts the most (hence why I numb my face for an hour beforehand), but the results are worth it, and the downtime isn't that bad!"

In another photo, she showed her face after a microneedling treatment, writing: "You will definitely look like you got a bad sunburn after ([and] maybe [mauled] by a cat) ..but it goes away as your skin recovers for a week."

She added: "I'm not an expert, so definitely consult your dermatologist about your skin needs. I'm just giving you insight into my experience."

Lindsay Hubbard opens up about red light therapy

She also shared an idea for those who aren't quite ready for those potential mauled-cat aftereffects. "If you're looking for something less invasive, sit under a red light for 20 minutes [at] 3 [times] a week!" she suggested, captioning a photo that showed her getting red-light therapy herself.
