‘I’m Not Really Doing Anything Illegal,’ Claims 21-Year-Old With Multiple Convictions

Jacquelyn says that when her daughter, Hannah, was a child, she did whatever she was asked to do. Then, at age 15, everything changed when Hannah got into trouble with the police for the first time. Since age 17, says Jacquelyn, Hannah, who is now 21, has been in and out of jail for multiple felony convictions, including stealing a car, drug possession and resisting arrest.

“She should have spent a lot more time in jail than she actually has,” claims Jacquelyn.

Hannah’s father, Jody, says, “My wife and I feel like she sweet-talks the judges and all she gets is a slap on the wrist.”

Hannah says that she’s matured; that going to jail is in her past, and that’s not who she is anymore. “At this point in my life, I’m not really doing anything illegal,” she claims.

Jacquelyn says she and Jody banned Hannah from their home, and she doesn’t know how her daughter is supporting herself. When she asks Hannah if she’s ever sold herself for money, how does Hannah respond?
